Green Coffee Export
Annam Marketing is considered as one of the largest exporters of green coffee beans from Ethiopia. It is a company from the Addis Ababa, and thus relies on one of the largest infrastructure of the country, in storage, processing and transport of coffee. The company buys natural coffee produced in certified farms, whether they are washed or natural and of high quality.
Roasted Coffee Export
We export grade one processed Sidamo, Yirgacheffe and Guji Coffee.
Oilseed
Ethiopian oilseeds and pulses are known for their flavor and nutritional value as they are mostly produced organically. For instance, the Ethiopian white oil seeds. Ethiopia is one of the centers of biodiversity for several oilseeds which can be considered as specialty high value seeds on the international market.
The variety of seeds that we grow and supply include sesame, groundnut, sunflower, soya, and nuts. Both at home and overseas, there is a high demand for the Ethiopian oilseeds.Most oilseeds are crushed to produce value-added protein meals and vegetable oils.
Sesame Seed
In Ethiopia a large number of sesame seed varieties exist. The varieties that are well known are Humera Gonder and Wellega. The Humera variety is appreciated worldwide for its aroma and sweet taste. It is suitable for various bakery products. The Gonder type is also suitable for the bakery market. The major competitive advantage of the Wellega type is its high oil content.
Niger seed (Noug)
Niger seed exports have since 2002 passed coffee exports to the US and accounts for a third of Ethiopia’s exports to America. Ethiopia uses the Niger seed for the oil extraction for human consumption as cooking oil.
